In this webinar, the CDI's Equity, Diversity and Inclusion Asosciate, Ifza Shakoor, will explore the inspiration behind her ofrthcoming book, Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in Career Development, the voices and research that shaped it, and how equity, inclusion and anti-oppressive practice can be embedded into everyday career development work. With a focus on real-world tools, case studies, and critical reflection, this session invites practitioners to go beyond good intentions and commit to meaningful change across the sector.

Ifza Shakoor
Ifza Shakoor is the CDI’s EDI Associate, an educator, researcher and equity consultant. She leads the CDI’s national EDI webinar series and is the author of Equity, Diversity and Inclusion in Career Development, published by Trotman in partnership with the CDI. Her work draws from lived experience, policy insight and practice-based research to support careers professionals in building inclusive, intersectional and socially just guidance systems.
