Evaluating career coaching

Alison Carter (Institute for Employment Studies) and Wendy Hirsh (IES and NICEC Fellow) will share their experience of evaluating a large-scale one-to-one career coaching intervention for those working in a wide range of occupations in primary care healthcare settings across England. The project developed a model of possible outputs and outcomes for both individuals and the NHS and used a range of methods to get feedback from individuals on various timeframes. This seminar is an opportunity to share ideas and experiences of the challenge of assessing the impact of career interventions for employed adults.
